Tummy time blanket for babies: Free crochet pattern.
Crochet Blanket Pattern:
There are so many babies in my family. I am always testing out new patterns for the little ones to try. I came up with this simple little crochet blanket pattern that is thicker and sturdier than an ordinary receiving blanket.
The blanket is made using a double strand of worsted weight yarn. This means you will need two different colors. Make sure to have at least 9 oz. of each color to complete this blanket. You will also need a J hook.
The finished blanket measures approximately 33.5″ x 25″.
Hold your two strands of yarn together and work them as if they are one single strand. With your J hook, CH 82.
R1 thru R35 – CH 2 and DC in each stitch across.
At the end of R35, tie off and weave in the yarn ends.
This blanket is just that simple. It is all rows of double crochet!
