Everyday Musings at Poochie Baby: Plans for February 2016.
Hello February! Time sure flies when you are busy with your nose to the grindstone!
I have been working on some new crochet patterns. This is a huge deal for me because my pattern muse has been pretty silent lately. Now, I am back in the groove and have so many ideas floating around in my mind. I must work on them and get the patterns completed.
I am currently working on a cardigan sweater pattern, which I may wait to release for the fall/winter collection.
I am also working on some new blanket patterns which use a baby sport yarn. I went through my stash and found some Bernat Baby Sport yarn I have had for years! This yarn is great for my Spring/Summer collection. It is lightweight and the yardage allows me to make bigger projects using just one skein. This means there will be more ‘One Skein’ patterns coming soon.
I’m hoping to release many new patterns in the Spring/Summer collection by March. Keep your fingers crossed and join the Crochet Club so you don’t miss out on the release! This collection will be sold through my new pattern shop. I bit the bullet and decided to set up the store through Shopify. So, all patterns are now located in the new store HERE.
Here is a sneak peek of the projects I am currently working on:
I am also working on the Joni Sweater pattern (cardigan):
I finished the Tummy Time blanket pattern. I decided to post the pattern on the Poochie Baby shop blog, not here on this blog. If you want to see this pattern, visit HERE.

My favorite crochet supplies:
Clover Crochet Hooks – The soft silicone handles have been a lifesaver for my hands and wrists.
Clover Amor Hooks – These are the same great hooks with silicone handles, only in smaller sizes for tiny projects and crochet thread.
Red Heart Super Saver Yarn – You just can’t beat this yarn for everyday projects.
