Hey everyone……….. So, here is another video tutorial for all of you who crochet.
I’ve now made about three blankets using the sea mist shell stitch and I think they turned out great! This is a different shell stitch and a little more complicated than a “regular” shell stitch. The only reason I haven’t made more of these blankets is because this design requires more counting and “paying attention” than I am usually willing to give. I enjoy my free form, non-thinking crochet! If you are interested in learning this sea mist shell technique, look up Crochet Geek on YouTube.
For the basic and much simpler shell stitch, watch this video to see how it is done. This video is done by Bethintx1 and she gives very clear and easy instructions. I hope you enjoy working with this stitch. I think it makes lovely blankets! And, this is the same stitch I use when I make my pinafore dresses…………
