Digital Planner Blues – Replacing My Note 7 With The LG V20
My Note 7 has to be returned. Figuring out which phone I wanted to replace it was not a task I want to repeat any time soon.
I am one of the lucky people who got caught up in the Samsung Galaxy Note 7 recall. I really love the phone and I seriously thought about keeping it. But, ultimately, safety won out. I really could not justify keeping a phone that may catch fire.
In the beginning, I thought I would simply have to turn my phone in for a replacement Note 7. That plan was cancelled when all models were recalled and Samsung suspended manufacturing the device. So, then I had to figure what phone to get as a replacement.
After much research, I settled on getting the LG V20. I considered getting the new Google Pixel phone but Verizon did not have the model I wanted when I ordered the replacement. I am actually glad that I chose the LG V20 instead. There are some features on this phone that are not included in other models…… such as having an IR blaster, removable battery, etc.
So, I have set up my new phone with all the productivity apps that I need for planning. The main planning apps that I use are Calengoo, Evernote, OneNote, and a shopping list. But, there are so many more apps that I use to manage social media, YouTube, my WordPress Blogs, and so on.
My digital planning explained on video:
I plan to do more digital productivity videos in the future. Smartphones are a great way for planners and crafters to keep track of projects and tasks.
